At JTC, we understand that you may want to hire a
translation company but have concerns about
what happens after delivery.
For example…
What if I want something checked after delivery?
Will the company agree to do it?
Do they have a deadline? Will they get annoyed with me?
At JTC, we want you to place your order with peace of mind.
That is why we put a great deal of effort
into our post-delivery service.
Perhaps the translation’s wording isn’t quite
what you had in mind and you want it changed.
Perhaps you’ve discovered an omission
or mistranslation after delivery.
Or perhaps you want to request a small addition.
No matter your request, we are ready to respond with sincerity.
The following sums up our commitment.

CASE 01If JTC’s translation was not satisfactory
We do everything we can to ensure the quality of our translations.
But despite our efforts, sometimes the final product isn’t
what the client had in mind.
This is because often the quality of a translation depends on
subjective judgment—in other words, what “feels right”
for the person who evaluates it.
The nature of translation makes this all but unavoidable.
In fact, we believe this is exactly the way it should be,
as there are as many likes and dislikes as there are clients.
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with our work,
we will pour even more effort into listening to what you want.
And we will make the revisions necessary until you are satisfied.
We believe a translation is not something we finish on our own—
we create it together with you.
We will make revisions free of charge,
so please do not hesitate to contact our staff.
Please understand, however, that we can only offer
free re-translations within one year after delivery.
CASE 02If you discover an error or mistranslation
Occasionally a translation error or mistranslation comes to
light some time after delivery.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you encounter
such a problem.
We will do what is necessary to correct it free of charge.
CASE 03If you wish to make an additional request
Any writing can lose its freshness with the passage of time.
Consequently, you may want to update your translation
by adding a sentence or partially revising the original text.
We will make minor additions or corrections for
a minimum charge of 5,000 yen* per language
for requests of fewer than 200 words.
*For English, Chinese, or Korean translations. Please inquire about other languages.
Each translation is a custom-made work,
one that we create together with the client.
That is why at Japan Translation Center,
we place great importance on post-delivery service.
